Wax London – British Menswear with Texture
In 2015, three friends sat in a London kitchen, frustrated by the same problem: they wanted to dress well without overpaying. For two years, the brand operated out of that kitchen before moving into a studio in Camden Town. What has defined Wax London ever since is its obsession with fabrics – weaves, textures, and patterns that the brand specifically sources from carefully working weavers.
Whiting Overshirt – the Signature Piece
The Whiting is the brand's most recognizable piece and is named after Tom Holmes' grandfather. Each season, it is reissued in new textures and patterns – always with the same principle: the structure of a jacket, the wearability of a shirt. Available from us as Multicolour Pastel Bude Check. More in our Jackets.
Didcot Shirts
The second core model and where Wax works with embroidery. We offer the Didcot in Ecru with an abstract pattern, the Painted Shapes in Multicolour, and the Seersucker version in Rust. Also available are the Tellaro in Navy with embroidered shapes and the Porto Crochet Shirt with a crochet texture. More in our Shirts.
Polo Shirts
The area where texture becomes most evident: Siena in Bouclé knit, Naples with Diamond Stripe, Belle in Pointelle knit with green piping, plus the simpler Albion and the Pendal. Knitted polos instead of jersey – the difference is immediately visible in the drape.
Knitwear
The Wilde Crew in Camel and Brush Stripe Black, as well as the Walker Cardigan in Ochre. Heavy qualities with visible texture. More in our Sweaters.
